Reservation Policy

As a small family owned Inn, the Calhoun depends upon confirmed reservations.  One night's room rate must be paid within three days of booking to confirm.   If you cancel any of the reserved times within seven days or less, a refund will be paid providing we are able to re-rent the room.  Cancellations with more than one week's notice will be completely refunded.  Reservations of two or more rooms will require more notice of cancellations.

A confirmed reservation is a contract and obligates both the Calhoun and you for the entire length of the stay reserved.  In the event of early departure, you are responsible for the remainder of the stay unless the room is re-rented. 

Weekends may require a two night stay as well as Holiday weekends, which may have special requirements.  Group bookings require special deposit arrangements and cancellation periods.

The Calhoun requests that you check into your room between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  Earlier or later arrivals require advance arrangements.  Departure time is usually by 11:00 a.m.

* We accept Visa, Master Card, Travelers Cheques, Personal Checks, and Money Orders.  We also accept cash if paid in person.
